ACADEMIC RESOURCES
Summer Service
Holy Child Upper School students are encouraged to participate in these summer weeks of service to live as women of “Actions Not Words” and to work towards service hour requirements for next school year. They are open to rising 9th to 12th graders, and especially encouraged for rising Juniors who will need to complete 30 hours of service at the same organization for their Junior requirement. As a reminder, ninth graders must complete 20 hours; tenth graders must complete 25 hours; and eleventh graders must complete 30 hours of service during the school year. Hours completed in the summer count towards the next school year.
Because rising Juniors must complete all of their service hours through direct service to one organization and these offerings complete that requirement, these programs are reserved first for registration to rising 11th graders. After three weeks, we will open these programs to other high school grades.
