In keeping with the spirit of giving that you embraced as a student at Holy Child, the Alumnae Association is once again planning to put a smile on the faces of 117 students at Washington School for Girls by providing each girl with a Christmas present. This may be the only present they receive. Washington School for Girls is a tuition-free Catholic school in Anacostia that provides educational opportunities for girls in grades 3-8 who are from economically disadvantaged communities.
A $25 donation will allow us to purchase one set of pajamas, and a Christmas trinket which will be wrapped and delivered to the girls the week before Christmas. This may be the only present that they receive. Will you contribute to putting a smile on the faces of 130 students at the school? We will do the shopping for you! Many thanks to Connie Coakley Caulfield ’82, Robin Marino Hoeymans ’86, and Alisa Marino Ramminger ’80 for coordinating this project.
Thank you for helping the Washington School for Girls provide a Merry Christmas for their students. If you have questions, please contact Robin Marino Hoeymans.
