This year our middle school is thrilled to be working on the musical, Moana Jr.. With different learning models throughout the fall, we plan to be flexible with the presentation and performance aspect of this year’s musical and the focus will be on the process and deeper learning on the story, culture, history of Moana’s heritage. Students will have the opportunity to research subjects including art, history, language, music, and culture as they discover the context of Moana’s journey of self-discovery. We welcome guest artists to assist with history lessons, culture and language, lei making and dance classes.
These additional performances and events will be presented throughout the year in virtual and in person formats depending on the learning models.
