Easter Break Travels
During Easter break, students went to Italy and to the Appalachia area of West Virginia, they went to the Northeast and onto college campuses and down the street to serve at the Washington School for Girls.
A group of Holy Child students visited Nazareth Farm in West Virginia, an intentional community focused on four cornerstones of Simplicity, Community, Service, and Prayer. The students and chaperones built community and served with schools from California, Missouri, and Ohio. The students learned about the community, sustainability, community, and different prayer practices. Nazareth Farm focused on Catholic Social Teaching and through their service work and life together recognizes human dignity, lives in solidarity, cares for God's creation, and cares for the poor and vulnerable.
