Yes. The winner can opt for $30,000 cash, but must notify Holy Child of that intention by the close of business on March 22, 2021.
All proceeds from the car raffle support Holy Child. Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college-preparatory school, committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of young women in grades 6 through 12. Holy Child is a 501(c)(3) organization.
The odds of winning are no greater than 1-in-1961, and will vary based on the number of entries.
Individual tickets are $100; groups of 3 tickets are $250. There is a maximum of 1,961 tickets sold.
Tickets are sold exclusively online and by credit card through Holy Child’s OneCause website at Connelly School of the Holy Child - 2021 Holy Child Gala (bidpal.net). The raffle ticket will be processed in the name of the credit card holder only. Neither checks nor cash will be accepted under any circumstances.
Once you complete your transaction, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation e-mail. This will serve as your raffle ticket and evidence of your purchase. Raffle ticket stubs will be generated by the Development Office at Holy Child and submitted to the Business Office at Holy Child for audit and retention until the drawing at the Gala on March 20, 2021.
The raffle will run from January 1, 2021 until March 20, 2021 at noon, or until 1,961 tickets are sold, whichever comes first. The drawing will be held at Holy Child’s Gala on March 20, 2021, but the winner need not be present to win.
If 1,961 tickets are sold prior to March 20, 2021 at noon, raffle sales will close and further entries will be refused.
No. Although Holy Child is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the purchase of a ticket is not considered a tax-deductible donation.
The drawing will take place at Holy Child’s 2021 Gala to be held virtually on March 20, 2021.
