Volleyball Camp 22-01

What to Bring:

  • Volleyball knee pads, sneakers, shorts/spandex, water bottle and a towel
  • A packed lunch should be brought from home with the camper’s name on it. Lunches will be refrigerated.

Meet the Coach:

Cristen Harris has been at the helm of the Holy Child volleyball program since 2018. She has turned the program into a well-respected contender in the ISL A.  Harris, a native of Prince Georges County, is a 2017 Shippensburg University graduate. She was an outside hitter for the NCAA Division II Shippensburg women’s volleyball team and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Exercise Science. She was a member of Shippensburg’s 2015 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship Team, which also tied the school’s single season record for victories at 30-8. Currently, Harris plays with an adult volleyball team in the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association.

Harris attended Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, MD where she was named Prince George’s County Player of the Year and First Team Selection as a senior. She also earned a place on the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) All-Conference First Team and an honorable mention on The Washington Post’s All-Met Volleyball Team. In addition, she received honorable mention nods on the WCAC All-Conference team as a sophomore and junior.
