The Class of 2015 had the highest percentage of parents support the Fund for Holy Child and have won an ice cream social sponsored by the Development Office!  This Friday, May 11th get ready to make ice cream sundaes with all of your favorite toppings during lunch.  Enjoy and be sure to thank your parents for supporting the Annual Fund! 

Environmental Club Service Opportunity! 

The Environmental Club and NHS are sponsoring a service opportunity this Saturday, May 12. We will be volunteering with the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club's volunteer efforts in Rock Creek Park, to work on repairing a stretch of the Western Ridge Trail near the Nature Center. It is important that we maintain trails like this so that the public can continue to enjoy nature and respectfully preserve it. The service will run from 8:20 until noon. We would love to see as many students out there as possible! If you are interested in helping the cause, or need hours for NHS applications or service projects, talk to Molly Virostek and look for permission slips available later this week.

UPPER SCHOOL ASSEMBLY DURING J BLOCK TODAY:  Upper School has an assembly featuring a student speaker and guest speaker during J Block today.  Please report to the gym at the beginning of J Block.

Tiger Trot Update

A few messages-please listen:  first, if you have registered for the Tiger Trot, you may pick up your race packet today between 2:30 and 4:00 pm today outside the Chapel.  Second, you may wear your Tiger Trot t-shirt with your school uniform tomorrow, Friday.  Third, bicycles are not allowed on the Tiger Trot course Sunday.  Participants and volunteers are welcome to sign up.  If you can't participate, but want to volunteer Sunday, please tell Ms. Gaiser in Connelly Hall or Mrs. K in the Main Building.  Thanks!

From the Nurse: water, water, water.

Spring is here!!  It is important to stay hydrated.  Bring water in your backpack, drink water at lunch time,  buy water from the vending machine or drink water from the water fountains.  And don’t forget an extra bottle of water or sports drink for after school activities.

ALL TALENT SHOW PARTICIPANTS MUST COME TO THE STAGE IN THE GYM DURING LUNCH TODAY FOR A SHORT MEETING to prepare for Friday’s show.
